"The Hamilton Scheme": a live event, outdoors, in New York City
Wednesday, September 4, 7PM, Bryant Park
Two days after Labor Day—two weeks, that is, from tomorrow!—I'll be at the Reading Room in Bryant Park, in Manhattan, a nice outdoor location in a park I'm fond of, to talk around and about my latest book, THE HAMILTON SCHEME, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. It's part of a Reading Room series co-produced by the New-York Historical Society.
As I've mentioned, I'm hoping to make this a bit of a delayed launch event. Yet I don't believe I can serve refreshments: it'll be our presence that'll make it event-like, and of course it would be great to have some BAD HISTORY subscribers there. The park is between Fifth and Sixth Avenues and 42nd and 40th Streets, adjacent to the library; the Reading Room is on the 42nd side, maybe slightly closer to Sixth than Fifth.
If it rains (boo), the event will be postponed or canceled (I'll try to get a note out if that happens).
This is nearly the only "live in-person" event I'm doing for THE HAMILTON SCHEME. There's been a bunch of video and audio, which has been nice—still, I'm looking forward to talking to an audience I can see!
Hope to see you there …
